Mehmet Erktin has extensive experience in the construction industry, having worked 23 years at Tekfen Holding’s numerous worksites in Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Germany.
During his tenure in Germany, some of the projects undertaken by Hallesche Mitteldeutsche Bau AG were, the shell and core construction of the German Chancellory, the aclaimed Spree Bogen tunnel in Berlin and the Leuna 2000 Refinery near Leipzig.
He left his position as Tekfen Holding Vice President and Chairman of the Board of Tekfen OZ Co., Inc., in May 2011 to become a co-founder of Omurga Real Estate Development Co.,Inc.
Upon graduating from Robert College and Boğaziçi University School of Civil Engineering,
Mehmet Erktin received a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Case Western Reserve University and completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.
